RABAT – 24 June 2026: Egypt and the United Arab Emirates discussed enhancing their cooperation in youth-oriented programs and initiatives during their participation in the first Arab forum on the impact of social media on youth in Morocco.

Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports Gohar Nail met with UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sultan Al Neyadi to explore ways of boosting cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of youth work.

The meeting reviewed successful experiences in youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and digital transformation.

The two ministers also discussed ways to harness social media positively to develop young people's skills and encourage their active participation in society.

Nabil reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to strengthening Arab cooperation on youth-related issues and exchanging successful experiences that help prepare future generations to meet challenges and adapt to rapid changes.

Meanwhile, Al Neyadi praised the strong ties between Egypt and the UAE, urging continued cooperation in youth affairs to support the aspirations of Arab youth and strengthen their role in achieving sustainable development.

The forum has brought together participants from across the Arab world to discuss issues and challenges related to the use of digital platforms and their impact on young people.
