Egyptian and UAE FMs on phone call
The two ministers discussed developments in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
A telephone call took place Tuesday, between Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, within the framework of ongoing consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries regarding current regional developments.
The two ministers also discussed developments in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of working to restore trust among the various regional parties, and the importance of addressing the security concerns of the region's countries, particularly the Gulf Arab states, and ensuring that attacks against them are not repeated, according to clear parameters that guarantee the rebuilding of trust.
They also stressed the importance of continuing coordination to confront current regional challenges and support efforts aimed at achieving peace, stability, and development in the region.
The call reflected the depth of the fraternal relations that bind Egypt and the UAE, and their shared commitment to continuing close coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest.
