The agreements reflect Egypt’s commitment to enhancing regional and international cooperation, supporting African integration, and developing pharmaceutical and healthcare systems in a manner that promotes health security and sustainable development.

The first MoU was signed between the Egyptian Drug Authority and Algeria’s National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products to strengthen cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.

The agreement was signed by Cherif Delih, Director of Algeria’s National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products, and Ali El Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority.

Following the signing, the prime minister took a commemorative photo with the heads of the two agencies.

The ceremony also included the signing of a second MoU concerning Egypt’s hosting of the operational headquarters of the African Pooled Procurement Mechanism, as well as a third MoU regarding Egypt’s participation in the mechanism.
