Egypt, Pakistan, Canada affirm support for regional security and stability

CAIRO – 15 June 2026: Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdelatty, received two phone calls on Monday from Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand.

The ministers expressed their strong support for the agreement reached between the United States and Iran and praised Egypt’s efforts over the past months, as well as its contribution to reaching the agreement in full cooperation and coordination with regional and international partners.

The ministers also expressed hope that the agreement would help create a positive atmosphere and open a new chapter that supports security and stability in the region.
