Egypt’s PM inspects ongoing development projects in Beheira

CAIRO – 13 June 2026: Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly embarked on an inspection tour of the Nile Delta governorate of Beheira on Saturday morning to review the progress of several ongoing development projects.

According to a Cabinet statement released on Saturday, the tour aims to facilitate and accelerate implementation procedures to elevate the quality of public services provided to citizens.

“Beheira is one of the largest governorates in the Egyptian Delta, distinguished by its diverse resources and its high capacity for establishing industrial, agricultural, investment, and exploration projects,” the Prime Minister stated.

Dr. Madbouly added that the itinerary includes an inspection of the historic city of Rosetta. The government intends to enhance Rosetta's standing as a global tourist destination, capitalizing on its wealth of ancient archaeological sites, unique architectural character, and renowned heritage crafts.
