CAIRO - 6 May 2026: The Ministry of Religious Endowments is organizing 1,014 outreach caravans at youth centers on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, under the title "Online Fraud Risks."
This initiative is part of a joint effort with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and falls under the "Correct Your Misconceptions" initiative.
"Correct Your Misconceptions" Initiative
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Religious Endowments' scientific, outreach, and educational role, and its commitment to strengthening its community engagement with various segments of society.
It aims to correct misconceptions through the Ministry's strategy, which is based on four pillars, foremost among them confronting extremism in all its intellectual and secular forms, and restoring and building the Egyptian national identity from a religious perspective that contributes to the development of civilization.
The implementation of these caravans stems from a recognition of the vital role of youth in building and advancing society, and the necessity of raising their awareness of emerging dangers, particularly cyber fraud, thereby contributing to enhanced digital literacy and instilling values of integrity and responsibility in online transactions.
The Ministry of Religious Endowments affirms that this collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports reflects the integrated efforts of state institutions in human development and the intellectual and behavioral fortification of youth, thereby supporting the development process and preserving societal stability.
