President El-Sisi leads funeral procession for Major General Kamal Madbouly

CAIRO – 27 April 2026: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi led the military funeral procession on Monday for Major General Kamal Madbouly, father of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, held at the Field Marshal Tantawi Mosque in New Cairo.

 

The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the President offered his sincere condolences to Prime Minister Madbouly and the family of the deceased, praying for God Almighty to grant the departed His mercy and to provide his family with patience and solace.
