CAIRO – 20 April 2026: The Council of Arab Foreign Ministers will convene for an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday via video conference, following an official request from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On Sunday, the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the League of Arab States submitted a memorandum to the League's General Secretariat, formally proposing the ministerial-level session.
The meeting has been called to address recent regional developments involving Iran, the United States, and Israel that began on February 28. Ministers will discuss the significant impact and broader repercussions of these events on the stability of the Middle East.
