Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, held separate meetings with Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, and Xavier Bettel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg

CAIRO – 19 April 2026: Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, held separate meetings with Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Xavier Bettel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

 

During the meetings, the Foreign Minister expressed his keenness to further advance bilateral relations with both countries and to expand cooperation across areas of mutual interest. The discussions also addressed key regional developments, with Minister Abdelatty outlining Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support regional security and stability.

 

He underscored the importance of coordinated regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions, stressing the need to prioritize dialogue and diplomatic solutions to the crises facing the region.
