CAIRO - 16 April 2026: Governor of Cairo, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, praised the organizational level of the 93rd Spring Flower Show, emphasizing that the exhibition represents a global gathering that brings together flower and plant enthusiasts from around the world, and an important platform for exchanging expertise and supporting sustainable agricultural development.
The Governor noted that the Cairo Governorate was keen to participate for the second consecutive year with a large pavilion for the Cairo General Authority for Cleanliness, Beautification, and Lighting, reflecting the capital's efforts to expand the cultivation of ornamental trees and promote a culture of beautification.
Opening of the 93rd Spring Flower Exhibition at the Agricultural Museum
This came during Dr. Ibrahim Saber's participation in the opening of the exhibition at the Agricultural Museum in Dokki, by Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, accompanied by Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity.
The opening was also attended by Counselor Mohamed El-Faisal Youssef, Head of the Central Auditing Organization, and a number of ambassadors from Arab and foreign countries, amidst wide participation from major exhibitors and specialized companies. Cairo Pavilion: 600 Meters Featuring 150 Varieties and Rare Plants
The Cairo Governorate is participating with a distinguished pavilion spanning 600 square meters, showcasing a stunning visual display of 150 different varieties and a total of 12,000 diverse plants. The pavilion includes shade plants, shrubs, ornamental trees, palms, and rare flowers, making it one of the largest and most popular pavilions at the exhibition.
The Exhibition First Launched in 1934
The Spring Flower exhibition is one of the oldest agricultural events in Egypt and the region, with its first edition held in 1934.
Its continued success reflects the state's commitment to promoting the flower and ornamental plant sector and developing local and international partnerships in this vital field that combines science, art, and beauty.
This year's exhibition features a comprehensive range of products, including:
Plants and Flowers: Roses, seasonal flowers, aromatic and medicinal plants (mint, basil, rosemary), and a special section for cactus and succulent enthusiasts.
Trees: Fruit trees, shade trees, and landscaping supplies.
Production Supplies: Seeds, seedlings, organic and chemical fertilizers, and various soil types (peat moss, compost).
Agricultural Technology: Modern ceramic and plastic pots, and advanced drip and sprinkler irrigation systems.
This year's event brings together leading flower producers, nursery owners, and modern irrigation system companies, making it a one-stop destination for anyone interested in agriculture and home décor.
