CAIRO - 14 April 2026: Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, will inaugurate the 93rd Spring Flowers Exhibition next Thursday at its historic venue in the Agricultural Museum in Dokki.

The official opening will be attended by a host of ministers, officials, and ambassadors, marking the launch of the largest and most distinguished edition in the exhibition's long history.

This year's exhibition will feature an exceptional participation of over 100 exhibitors representing leading ornamental and landscaping plant companies, producers of rare cacti, and agricultural production supplies.

This edition is particularly significant for its integration of aesthetics and heritage, with the Ministry of Social Solidarity participating with the "Our Homes" handicrafts exhibition, making the exhibition a comprehensive destination that combines the charm of nature with the authenticity of Egyptian craftsmanship.

Unprecedented Facilities for the Public and Exhibitors

In a supportive gesture prior to the official opening, the Minister of Agriculture directed that all necessary facilities be provided to ensure an exceptional experience for Egyptian families. This included extending the exhibition period until the end of May, instead of mid-May, to accommodate the anticipated public turnout. Furthermore, all exhibitors were exempted from additional fees for the extended period, encouraging emerging projects and small nurseries. The efficiency of the walkways and services within the Agricultural Museum was also improved, and modern rest areas were provided for visitors.

The exhibition's opening coincides with the reopening of the Agricultural Museum to the public following comprehensive renovations. The site has been transformed into a cultural and civilizational complex showcasing Egypt's agricultural identity throughout the ages.

The Ministry explained that the exhibition will offer ornamental plants and flowers at competitive prices, significantly lower than those in international markets, supporting home gardening enthusiasts and promoting a green culture.

The Ministry of Agriculture invites citizens to visit this historic event, which represents the largest gathering of ornamental plants in the Arab region, noting that the exhibition will welcome its visitors daily from morning until evening throughout its duration, amidst a festive atmosphere befitting Egypt’s status and its long agricultural history.
