Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Jumblatt received representatives of the Indian company of Parason Machinery
CAIRO – 13 April 2026: Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Jumblatt received representatives of the Indian company of Parason Machinery, World's Leading Pulp Stock Preparation & Paper Machinery Manufacturer and Supplier, to discuss opportunities for enhancing strategic cooperation across various manufacturing sectors.
This meeting comes in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to expand collaboration with international companies, support local manufacturing, advance infrastructure projects, and achieve sustainable development goals. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Military Production’s training sector in El-Salam City.
Minister Jumblatt welcomed the delegation, noting that Parason specializes in high-performance engineering and industrial solutions. He highlighted the strength of Egyptian-Indian relations, which have witnessed significant growth in recent years, particularly in economic and military cooperation, yielding mutual benefits for both countries.
He explained that the discussions focused on enhancing manufacturing capabilities and increasing production capacity across companies and units affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production. The meeting also reviewed the technological, technical, and manufacturing capabilities, as well as the resources available within these entities. The minister emphasized that adopting the latest manufacturing technologies is essential for continuous modernization and development.
For their part, representatives of Parason expressed their appreciation for the warm reception, commending Egypt’s industrial capabilities and affirming their interest in strengthening strategic partnership with the Ministry. They noted that such cooperation would facilitate the exchange of expertise and foster integration between both sides.
The discussions also explored potential collaboration with Abu Zaabal Specialized Chemicals Company to transfer advanced manufacturing technologies to chemical production lines and enhance overall production capacity, while optimizing the performance of existing production systems.
The meeting was attended by Engineer Tarek Bakheet, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the National Authority for Military Production; and Engineer Mohamed Sherine, both representing the Ministry of Military Production.
