CAIRO – 3 April 2026: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly will inspect a number of factories in the Banha industrial zone on Saturday, accompanied by the minister of investment and several officials.

On March 28, 2026, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted an inspection tour that included the Obour wholesale market and a branch of the national “Carry On” project in Heliopolis, Cairo Governorate. The visit was part of ongoing field monitoring of markets and aligns with directives from the political leadership to enhance food security and regulate markets.

The tour comes amid rapid regional developments and reflects the state’s commitment to directly overseeing the efficiency of goods distribution systems and ensuring the smooth functioning of supply chains at all levels—from wholesale markets, through transportation and distribution, to retail outlets serving end consumers.
