Sisi performs Eid al-fitr Prayer at Al-Fattah al-Aleem Mosque

CAIRO - 20 March 2026: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Al-Fattah Al-Aleem Mosque in the New Administrative Capital.

 

At the mosque, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was received by the Prime Minister and a number of ministers and officials.

 

 

The Eid al-Fitr prayer is being attended by both officials and members of the public, amidst a uniquely spiritual atmosphere inside the mosque, with the recitation of the Eid takbirs (chants of "Allahu Akbar").
