CAIRO – 15 March 2026: Egypt’s national carrier EgyptAir said it has reduced its flights to Dubai to one per day instead of two, effective on Sunday and until further notice.
In a statement, the airline said the decision followed instructions issued by the relevant authorities at Dubai International Airport to all airlines operating there to reduce the density of arriving and departing flights amid regional developments.
EgyptAir urged passengers booked on Dubai flights to review their reservations by contacting the airline’s call center or visiting its website.
Airlines in the UAE have begun gradually resuming flights to and from the country amid Iranian missile and drone attacks and air defence interceptions that have disrupted regional air traffic.
The Iranian attacks, launched in retaliation for US-Israeli strikes on Iran since February 28, have targeted several of Iran’s Arab neighbours, fuelling wider instability in the Middle East.
