CAIRO – 12 March 2026: The “Tahya Misr” Fund, in cooperation with the “Beit Al-Zakat Wal-Sadaqat” (House of Zakat and Charity), announced the arrival of a comprehensive humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip, on Thursday.

This step comes within the framework of the Egyptian humanitarian role to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in light of the current circumstances.

Also, The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) continued its efforts to prepare hot meals through the "Humanitarian Kitchen" in North Sinai, while continuing to provide Iftar meals for fasting people inside the Gaza Strip through the "Zad Al-Ezza Ramadan Kitchen".

As the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip worsens under continued aid restrictions, the United Nations has escalated its warnings regarding the thousands of patients and wounded individuals whose lives are at risk. With medical evacuations suspended and the delivery of essential relief supplies severely hampered, UN agencies report that the health system is facing unprecedented challenges.

UN officials confirmed that the continued closure of key crossings and the obstruction of humanitarian operations are exacerbating the population's suffering. International reports describe living conditions in the Strip as "dire," calling for urgent intervention to ensure the unimpeded delivery of life-saving aid.
