Egyptian embassy in Qatar denies organizing evacuation of citizens from Doha, ensures stability of situation

CAIRO - 12 March 2026: CAIRO - 12 March 2026: The Egyptian Embassy in Qatar confirmed that it is not organizing the evacuation of Egyptian citizens from Doha, as the situation is stable and the Qatari authorities are providing all means of security and safety for all citizens and residents.

 

In a statement, the Egyptian Embassy in Doha clarified that it is only facilitating the travel of those who voluntarily wish to return to Egypt by opening registration to assist them in obtaining emergency entry visas from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The embassy emphasized that it does not intervene in air travel arrangements and does not provide any free travel services for citizens wishing to leave Qatar. It further stated that all claims circulating on social media are false and baseless.

 

The embassy urged members of the Egyptian community to be wary of these rumors, which aim to undermine trust between the community and the embassy during this delicate period.

 

The embassy explained that it continues, through its political and consular sections in the sisterly State of Qatar, to work at full capacity to provide all consular services to the honorable members of the community, and to respond to any inquiries from them.
