CAIRO- 9 March 2026: An Egyptian national was inured in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, when debris fell after the UAE authorities successfully intercepted missiles from Iran. 

 

Abu Dhabi Media Office announced in a statement on its official X that the authorities in Abu Dhabi responded to two incidents involving falling debris in separate locations following the successful interception of aerial threats by air defense systems.

 

It added that the first incident resulted in a minor injury to a Jordanian national, while the second left an Egyptian national moderately injured.

 

Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading rumors or unverified reports.
