CAIRO - 6 March 2026: Dr. Eng. Salah Suleiman Gomblatt, Minister of State for Military Production, held an extensive meeting with the chairmen of the boards of directors of the ministry’s affiliated companies operating in the field of ammunition production.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Military Production headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the progress made in delivering ammunition under contracts signed between military production companies and various partner entities.
He also listened to presentations from the company chairmen on production plans for the upcoming phase, in addition to the challenges facing the manufacturing process and the proposed solutions to address them.
Gomblatt emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest quality standards at every stage of manufacturing while maintaining the agreed contractual timelines.
He also stressed the need to continuously modernize production lines, adopt the latest industrial technologies, including artificial intelligence, and enhance the efficiency of human resources through specialized training programs.
He added that the current phase requires intensified efforts, stronger coordination, and continuous integration among all entities affiliated with the ministry. Such measures, he noted, will help strengthen the competitiveness of military production companies’ products, enabling them to meet domestic demand while expanding toward export markets.
