CAIRO – 5 March 2026: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly stressed the important role of military production companies in supporting efforts to localize various industries across multiple sectors, contributing to increased product availability and meeting the needs of both productive and consumer markets.

 

During the meeting, Minister of Military Production Dr. Eng. Salah Suleiman Jumblatt stated that the Ministry aims in the coming period to intensify efforts to attract more local and foreign investments across several sectors. 

 

He also highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to deepening and localizing domestic industries by utilizing artificial intelligence and modern technologies, in order to maximize available capabilities and make better use of the production capacities of companies affiliated with Military Production.

 

He emphasized that the Ministry’s vision is to develop Military Production into an advanced industrial institution capable of meeting diverse requirements while contributing to sustainable development through participation in industrial, developmental, service, and national projects, relying on its strong technological, manufacturing, and human capabilities.

 

The Minister also noted that the Ministry’s strategy for the next phase focuses on expanding training programs to improve the efficiency and skills of technical and administrative personnel through cooperation with Egyptian universities, research centers, and specialized academies. The Ministry also aims to rehabilitate and develop production lines for traditional products while working to introduce new products based on modern technologies and artificial intelligence.

 

Jumblatt also highlighted efforts to enhance the financial management efficiency of the Ministry’s affiliated entities and companies, in line with the state’s digital transformation efforts and institutional governance.
