President Sisi Performs Friday Prayers at Field Marshal Tantawi Mosque

CAIRO –27 February 2026: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi performed Friday prayers at the Field Marshal Tantawi Mosque. The service was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly; General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production; and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

Also in attendance were the commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces, senior military officials, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, and the Ministers of Interior, Transport, Agriculture, and Military Production.

The Friday sermon, delivered by Dr. Shehata Azazi, focused on the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan. Dr. Azazi highlighted the historic victories achieved during this sacred time, specifically commemorating the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory and honoring the continued heroism and sacrifices of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
