Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi meets with the Board of Trustees of the National Training Academy (NTA), 25 Feb. 2026. Presidency
CAIRO - 25 February 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the importance of offering robust training and preparation programs at the National Training Academy (NTA), ensuring they align with the state’s priorities and national development plans.
The president made the remarks during a meeting with the academy’s Board of Trustees on Wednesday to review the proposed strategic plan for the academy.
El-Sisi highlighted investing in human capital through training, knowledge transfer, and skills development as a key driver for improving institutional performance and enhancing the state’s ability to implement public policies efficiently and flexibly.
He stressed the need for the NTA to select trainees and students based on objective criteria without favoritism, implementing rigorous evaluation systems, and leveraging digital tools and artificial intelligence.
The president also encouraged the academy to establish strategic regional and international partnerships with reputable institutions to exchange expertise and resources, aiming to deliver outstanding results in shorter timeframes.
NTA Strategy
The meeting reviewed the proposed strategic plan for the NTA, and the its vision and mission.
This includes developing human capital and building leaders capable of leading institutional and societal transformation, thereby enhancing Egypt's regional and international position.
The plan also focuses on effectively contributing to developing the administrative apparatus, preparing qualified national cadres, leading positive change in societal issues, and disseminating the values of leadership, innovation, and institutional integration, thus supporting Egypt's soft power and its leadership within its regional and international surrounding.

Executive Director of the NTA Solafa El-Goueili reviewed the strategic objectives the academy seeks to achieve, including preparing qualified personnel capable of developing the state's administrative apparatus.
These personnel would also contribute to building national and developmental awareness that will positively impact Egyptian society.
The strategy seeks to establish the academy as a regional training hub, thus serving as a soft power that supports Egypt's standing in its regional and international surrounding.
The meeting reviewed implementation status of the strategy, along with ways to develop the academy to ensure the sustainability of its training impact and maximize the utilization of its accumulated expertise.
El-Goueili emphasized that the academy's work is based on the latest training and capacity-building methodologies, aligning with the Egyptian state's orientation across various sectors.
This is achieved through integrated training and presidential programs that enhance leadership and technical skills, particularly for young people, and solidify modern management concepts, thereby supporting the efficiency of the state's administrative apparatus and meeting the requirements of “the new republic.”

The Board of Trustees is chaired by President El-Sisi.
