CAIRO – 23 February 2026: Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Suleiman Gamblat, met on Monday with senior ministry officials and chairmen of affiliated companies to review the implementation status of projects under the presidential initiative "Haya Karima" (Decent Life).
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Military Production’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, focused on progress updates for various infrastructure and service-related projects. These initiatives are central to the "Decent Life" mission of developing rural Egypt and improving the quality of basic services for Egyptian citizens.
Minister Gamblat underscored the importance of adhering to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. He emphasized the need to accelerate construction and meet established deadlines across various governorates to ensure the facilities become operational as soon as possible.
The Minister noted that a significant percentage of these projects have already reached completion. He added that the Ministry is maintaining round-the-clock coordination with affiliated companies to deliver remaining works, ensuring a direct and timely impact on citizens' daily lives.
Gamblat described the "Decent Life" initiative as a pioneering Egyptian development model. He stated that it is instrumental in achieving social justice and enhancing human capital by providing essential services—including sanitation and potable water—to targeted rural communities.
