President Sisi receives Ramadan greetings from Tunisian counterpart

CAIRO – 18 February 2026: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from President of Tunisia Kais Saied, on Wednesday.

Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that the Tunisian president extended his greetings to President El-Sisi on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, asking Allah the Almighty to bring this blessed month back to the Egyptian and Tunisian peoples, as well as to the Arab and Islamic nations, with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.

President El-Sisi expressed his sincere appreciation for this kind gesture, wishing Tunisia and its people goodness, prosperity and progress.

The two presidents reiterated the depth of the historical ties between Egypt and Tunisia. They emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and fulfills their aspirations for further development and stability.
