CAIRO - 9 February 2026: Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany, the official spokesperson for the Cabinet, affirmed that the National Authority for Social Insurance's digital transformation project will have a direct and positive impact on Egyptian citizens.

In a phone interview on the "Studio Extra" program broadcast on Extra News channel, El-Homsany explained that the primary goal is to reduce time and effort, eliminating the hassle of paperwork and bureaucracy, thus ensuring citizens receive their services with minimal pressure.

El-Homsany revealed details of the services offered, noting that the system will begin with 40 digital services, followed by the addition of 55 more, bringing the total to 95 integrated insurance services.

He pointed out that the system relies on comprehensive electronic connectivity between all relevant entities, providing the Authority with immediate access to information and eliminating the need for citizens to submit duplicate paper documents from various agencies.

Regarding some citizens' concerns about using modern technological systems, El-Homsany reassured them that the Authority will continue to assist those who encounter difficulties using the electronic platforms.

Mohammed Al-Homsani emphasized that the transition is being implemented gradually to ensure citizens are familiar with the new methods, while providing the necessary technical support for senior citizens and those unfamiliar with digital payments and transactions.

Concluding his remarks, Advisor Mohammed Al-Homsani highlighted the significant role of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in developing these platforms.

He affirmed that the future vision includes the widespread adoption of electronic signatures and the provision of all government services digitally, in line with the state's comprehensive plan for digital transformation and the development of institutional performance to serve citizens with high efficiency.
