CAIRO – 6 February 2026: Messing the Middle East and causing chaos in regional countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, was planned by former US President Barack Obama’s administration, revealed newly declassified files of Jeffrey Epstein, the controversial US financier and child sex offender.

Last Friday, the US Department of Justice released 3.5 million new documents – including 2,000 videos and 180,000 images – related to the Epstein files.

According to one of the declassified documents, US-German entrepreneur and PayPal cofounder Peter Thiel was emailing Epstein, speaking about how the US was planning to mess the Arab world.

“The ‘intentionality’ argument would center on making sure the US gets less involved with the rest of the world (I think that's the ‘plan’). The more of a mess, with just lots of bad guys on different sides, the less we will do,” wrote Peter Thiel in his e-mail to Epstein in June 2014.

On June 14, 2024, Epstein replied: “I keep hearing your ‘intentionality’. Imagine if this mess is what Obama really wanted: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, -- We'd have to admit a strategy brilliantly executed.”

Another newly released document revealed that a man named Greg Brown - another associate of Epstein- devised in an e-mail to the latter plans to access frozen Libyan sovereign assets. The plan reportedly involved exploring the possibility of obtaining support from former British and Israeli intelligence officials. The e-mail was sent just six months following the ousting of later Libyan Leader Muammar Al Gaddafi in 2011.

“Remember there are already $80 billion in frozen funds/assets internationally, of which $32.4 billion is in the US. And it is estimated that the real number is somewhere between three to four times this number in sovereign, stolen and misappropriated assets, so if we can identify/recover 5% to 10% of these monies and receive 10% to 25% as compensation we are talking about billions of dollars,” wrote Greg Brown in his e-mail to Epstein.

“But the real carrot is if we can become their go-to guys because they plan to spend at least $100 billion next year to rebuild their country and jump start the economy. Also, remember Libya is a rich country, as its population is two million less than the city of New York and it has the ninth largest crude oil & natural gas reserves on the planet and a literacy rate of almost 80%,” Brown continued. “I also have friends, formally with Mi-6 and Mossad willing to help identify stolen assets and get them recovered,” he added.
