CAIRO – 4 February 2026: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi an electric car on Wednesday. The gift was presented during Erdoğan’s official visit to Egypt to participate in the second meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council held in Cairo.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesman for the presidency, stated that President Sisi inspected the vehicle in the gardens of the Presidential Palace. Following the inspection, President Sisi drove the car himself, with President Erdoğan as his passenger, from the palace to the venue of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Forum at the Al Masa Hotel in Nasr City.
