CAIRO – 1 February 2026: Egypt expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the government and people of the Democratic Republic of Congo following the collapse of the Rubaya mine in eastern DRC, which claimed lives of more than 200 people.

 

Egypt also extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and those reported missing, expressing full solidarity during this tragic humanitarian crisis and wishing a sppedy recovery to the injured.
