CAIRO – 24 January 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized that Egypt is committed to a foreign policy grounded in respect for international law, the pursuit of peaceful relations among nations, and efforts to achieve stability and peace.

The president made the remarks during a luncheon attended by senior state officials and a group of media representatives after celebrating the 74th Police Day anniversary.

The gathering featured an interactive dialogue addressing developments in domestic, regional, and international affairs.

During the discussion, the president emphasized the importance of refining media discourse, continuing reforms across state institutions and agencies, and adhering to objective and impartial standards in public sector appointments.

He also highlighted the ongoing need to advance education reform, address related challenges, and strengthen Egypt’s healthcare system.

El-Sisi further stressed the significance of sound governance and prudence in managing state institutions and agencies.
