CAIRO – 24 January 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will attend the celebration marking the 74th anniversary of Egyptian Police Day.
Egyptian Police Day is a significant national anniversary commemorating the Battle of Ismailia in 1952, during which police officers demonstrated remarkable courage in confronting British occupation forces, setting a lasting example of sacrifice and dedication in defense of national dignity and sovereignty. The occasion has since come to symbolize bravery, loyalty, and patriotism.
