CAIRO – 20 January 2026: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived Tuesday at Zurich International Airport to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
President El-Sisi was received by Mohamed Nagm, Egypt’s ambassador to Switzerland; Ambassador Alaa Hegazy, Egypt's permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva; and Counselor Amgad Rizk, Egypt's consul to the Swiss Confederation.
El-Sisi is scheduled to arrive at the Davos conference center Wednesday morning, where he will meet with Børge Brende, president of the World Economic Forum, for a bilateral discussion.
Following that meeting, El-Sisi and Brende will proceed to the main hall. The president will then participate in a "Presidential Dialogue" session dedicated to Egypt. During the session, Brende will deliver opening remarks, followed by a keynote address from El-Sisi and an interactive Q&A session with attendees.
The president is also scheduled to participate in a CEO roundtable. The session, focused on investment opportunities in Egypt, will include approximately 60 CEOs and representatives from leading global companies.
