CAIRO – 10 January 2026: A telephone call took place on Saturday, January 10, between Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, and Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the call, the two ministers reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuing efforts to strengthen political, economic, and investment relations between their countries, as well as to intensify high-level bilateral visits. These efforts aim to serve the mutual interests of both nations and enhance joint Arab action within the framework of the strong fraternal ties binding the two brotherly countries.
The ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional issues, expressing their desire to maintain close coordination and consultation in support of political and diplomatic solutions to regional crises, with the goal of promoting peace and stability. They emphasized their commitment to addressing common challenges in a manner that serves the interests of Arab states and strengthens cooperation among them.
