Foreign Ministry urges members of Egypt's community in Saudi Arabia to abide by laws

CAIRO – 15 December 2025: Ambassador Nabil Habashi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, stressed the importance of continuously raising awareness among members of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the need to respect and comply with all laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom.

This came during a meeting held by Ambassador Nabil Habashi with prominent figures and representatives of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom, on the sidelines of his visit to the capital, Riyadh, to participate in the Conference on Dialogue of Civilizations.

The meeting was attended by Egypt’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ihab Abu Sarea, and Egyptian Consul Yasser Hashem.

The Deputy Minister explained that the visit falls within the framework of directives from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, emphasizing the importance of regular and continuous communication with Egyptians abroad, checking on their conditions, and listening to their proposals.
