CAIRO – 1 December 2025: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated on Monday Egypt’s Defence Expo “EDEX 2025”.

The fourth edition of Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2025) is being held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Convention Center in Cairo, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

 

The four-day event will bring together leading global manufacturers and exhibitors from the defence, armaments and security industries, representing both regional and international sectors. According to organizers, the exhibition will feature national pavilions from 25 countries and attract participants from around the world to showcase the latest defence technologies and systems.

Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) is an international defense exhibition held biennially in Egypt, showcasing advancements in air, land, and sea military technologies.

EDEX is organized by the Egyptian Armament Authority of the Ministry of Defence.

The award-winning show is the only defence and security event that covers Africa and the Middle East, presenting a unique opportunity for visitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and systems across land, sea, and air.

The exhibition will be held from December 1 to 4 at the Egypt International Exhibition and Convention Centre, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

EDEX 2025 is set to welcome major defence and security exhibitors, along with leading international companies from across the region and beyond. It is expected to attract official delegations from more than 100 countries and draw approximately 45,000 visitors.

EDEX 2025 will feature national pavilions from 25 countries, alongside global exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in defence and armaments.
