Sudden drop in temperature expected in Egypt

CAIRO – 28 November 2025: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that Egypt is expected to experience a sudden change in weather from Sunday (November 30) to Thursday (December 4), with temperatures set to drop by three degrees Celsius.

According to the EMA, slightly chilly autumn weather will prevail across most regions on Saturday, while Upper Egypt will see mild warmth.

Fog is expected to form from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM on several roads leading to and from northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai. In some areas, the fog may be dense.

The EMA also reported the possibility of light rainfall over Halayeb and Shalateen, several northern coastal areas, and parts of the Delta.
