The official said the plane carried food parcels and shelter kits provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
He added that the arrival brings the total number of Saudi aid aircraft that have landed at El Arish airport to 74 as part of the kingdom’s ongoing support for the Palestinian people.
The shipment was unloaded and transported by trucks to logistics warehouses in the city ahead of its entry into Gaza in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the official said.
Since the outbreak of the Israeli offensive on Gaza in October 2023, El Arish airport has received 1,054 aid aircraft from 59 countries and regional and international organizations, carrying more than 27,000 tonnes of relief supplies to the Gazans.
