CAIRO – 23 November 2025: r. Mohamed Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, issued a weather alert regarding a period of severe atmospheric fluctuations expected to affect the country on Monday and Tuesday.
Fahim noted that the coming wave will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures, rainfall, and strong wind activity.
He stressed that the primary risk lies in the possibility of rainfall turning into flash floods, particularly in the southern Red Sea region and the Sinai Peninsula.
The Climate Information Center urged citizens, especially those in areas vulnerable to flash floods, to exercise extreme caution and adhere to safety guidelines. It also called on farmers to take the necessary precautions to protect their crops from the expected temperature decline and strong winds.
