CAIRO – 20 November 2025: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday approved a new bill obliging his administration to disclose all government records related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Reuters and the AP reported.

The documents, long sought by critics and supporters alike, are expected to offer further insight into Epstein’s activities prior to his 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor.

Under the bill, the Justice Department must publish all files, correspondence and materials connected to Epstein, including details of the federal inquiry into his 2019 death.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Justice Department will comply with the new bill and make its Epstein-related documents public within 30 days.

The requirement follows legislation approved on Tuesday by the Republican-led House and the Senate.

Trump, who had previously resisted releasing the files, said in a social media post that he reversed course because “I just don’t want Republicans to take their eyes off all of the Victories that we’ve had.”
