CAIRO – 15 November 2025:  The “State of Recitation” Quranic program, a collaboration between the Ministry of Religious Endowments and United Media Services (UMS), was launched on Friday at 9:00 PM on satellite channels and online platforms.

In a statement, the Ministry of Religious Endowments Spokesman Osama Raslan invited viewers to enjoy a series of beautiful and majestic performances in the final rounds of this highly anticipated program.

Designed to discover and nurture talent, the program aligns with the Ministry’s “Human Development” strategy and highlights the authenticity and uniqueness of the Egyptian school of Quranic recitation, both in its understanding and application, Raslan continued.

Considered the crown jewel of Quranic talent programs, “State of Recitation” aims to elevate public appreciation for the beauty and majesty of Quranic recitation and intonation. The program airs on Al-Hayat, CBC, Al-Nas, and Misr Quran Karim channels, as well as the WATCH IT platform, every Friday and Saturday at 9:00 PM, Raslan added.

The initiative is supported by United Media Services, with total prize money of 3.5 million LE. The two first-place winners, in the branches of recitation and intonation, will each receive one million LE, record the entire Holy Quran for broadcast on the Egypt Holy Quran Channel, and have the honor of leading worshippers in Taraweeh prayers at the Imam Hussein Mosque during the upcoming Ramadan.
