GAZA CITY – 8 November 2025: One Palestinian was killed and another was wounded in attacks east of Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to local medics and the Israeli military.

Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza City and Khan Younis today, marking new violations of the ceasefire, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The Israeli military also carried out artillery fire east of Khan Younis and demolished residential buildings in Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Rafah.

Explosions from the airstrikes and demolitions were reported across southern Gaza. Israeli forces additionally fired from naval vessels off Rafah.

Despite ceasefire agreements intended to allow humanitarian aid, only 4,453 of the planned 15,600 aid trucks (28%) have entered Gaza since the truce began, according to the Gaza government media office.

The war in Gaza has killed 69,169 people and injured over 170,000 more since October 2023, according to the enclave’s health ministry.

Despite the ceasefire agreed by Hamas and Israel last month, Israeli forces have breached the truce several times with airstrikes, shelling, and other military operations that have killed more than 240 Palestinians.
