CAIRO – 3 November 2025: With partiicpation of a high-level delegation from Egypt, the Second World Summit for Social Development will kick off in Doha on Tuesday.
Egypt is represented by a high-level delegation headed by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
The three-day summit is the second world gathering thirty years after the 1995 World Summit for Social Development in Copenhagen.
he Doha Summit will highlight the importance of taking concrete action toward eradicating poverty, promoting full employment and decent work, and advancing social inclusion—ensuring that no one is left behind in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. The Summit aims to address persistent global gaps, reaffirm international commitment to social development, and reinvigorate momentum toward achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
