Madbouly welcomed the Yemeni Prime Minister, expressing his appreciation for the historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
Cairo - 3 November 2025: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met on Monday with his Yemeni counterpart Salem Saleh bin Brik on the sidelines of the first summit of leaders of the Global Alliance to Combat Hunger and Poverty, held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Madbouly welcomed the Yemeni Prime Minister, expressing his appreciation for the historical relations between the two brotherly countries.
The Prime Minister also affirmed Egypt's support for the legitimate government in Yemen, as well as its support for achieving security and stability in Yemen.
The Prime Minister also affirmed the constants of the Egyptian position towards the situation in Yemen, which is based on Egypt’s firm support for the legitimate government in Aden, the unity, independence and territorial integrity of the Yemeni state, as well as the paramount importance of the security and stability of Yemen to regional security.
Madbouly also expressed hope for achieving security and stability in Yemen, emphasizing Egypt's awareness of the magnitude of the challenges it faces.
The Prime Minister also pointed to the importance of achieving security and stability in the Red Sea region in light of the current negative repercussions on the security of maritime navigation.
The Yemeni Prime Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two brotherly countries through the implementation of joint projects, given the existence of Yemeni cities and regions that enjoy security and stability.
For his part, Madbouly noted the importance of convening the joint committee as soon as possible, with the possibility of holding a business forum between the two countries on the sidelines of the committee's work.
