Get to know Cairo Metro’s operating hours after clock change

CAIRO – 30 October 2025: Due to Egypt’s transition to winter time, the clocks will be set back by 90 minutes at 12 a.m. on Friday. Accordingly, the Cairo Metro operating hours will be adjusted to reflect the new timing.

Metro Train Schedule

Arrivals:

-       The first trains depart from the terminus stations of Lines 1 and 2, Helwan, New El-Marg, Shubra, and El-Mounib, at 5:15 AM.

-       The first train departs from Adly Mansour towards Cairo University, and vice versa, at 5:15 AM. 

-       The first train departs from Adly Mansour towards Rod El-Farag Axis at 5:20 AM, and from Rod El-Farag Axis to Adly Mansour at 5:15 AM.

Departure:

-       The last train departs from New El-Marg and Helwan at 11:40 PM.

-       The last train departs from Shubra at 11:55 PM.

-       The last train departs from El-Mounib at 12:05 AM.

-       The last train departs from Adly Mansour towards Cairo University at 11:33 PM.

-       The last train departs from Adly Mansour towards Rod El-Farag Axis at 11:29 PM.

-       The last train departs from Rod El-Farag Axis towards Adly Mansour at 11:55 PM.

-       The last train departs from Cairo University towards Adly Mansour at 11:52 PM.
