CAIRO – 29 October 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved the inclusion of Egyptian foreign ministry personnel who died while performing their duties abroad in the beneficiaries of the martyrs and victims honoring fund.

The Fund for Honoring Martyrs, Victims, Missing Persons, and Injured of War, Terrorist, and Security Operations and Their Families, established in 2018 under the directives of President El-Sisi, offers comprehensive care to individuals under its umbrella.

The fund provides recognition to those killed, injured, or missing in military, security, and terrorist operations, as well as their families, and offers social, health, and educational support, in addition to compensations, dedicated to living beneficiaries.

On behalf of its staff and the families of the fallen, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere gratitude to President El-Sisi for this directive.

In a statement on Wednesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty said the decision reflects El-Sisi’s deep appreciation for the sacrifices of loyal foreign ministry personnel who carry out their national duties with honor and dedication worldwide, upholding Egypt’s image.
