CAIRO – 27 October 2025: Following Cabinet meetings on this evening, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inspected the final arrangements and preparations for the grand celebration marking the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for Saturday, November 1.

 

The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring a world-class opening ceremony for the Grand Egyptian Museum, in line with directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

 

During the tour, Madbouly inspected final preparations for the celebration, including the improvement of roads and transport routes leading to the museum, the installation of night lighting systems, and the ongoing rehearsals for artistic and performing programs scheduled for the event.

 

The Prime Minister also inspected preparations inside the museum and its various exhibition halls, with particular attention to arrangements for receiving official and international delegations expected to attend the grand opening.

 

The inspection extended to key areas surrounding the museum, including the Al Remaya Sqaure, Alexandria Desert Road, the vicinity of Sphinx Airport, and the museum’s exterior and interior spaces.

 

At the conclusion of the tour, the Prime Minister directed the completion of all final preparations, ensuring the readiness of organizational, logistical, and procedural arrangements for the anticipated opening ceremony, which will showcase Egypt’s cultural leadership on the world stage.
