CAIRO – 16 October 2025: The 12th humanitarian convoy organized by the National Alliance for Civil Development Action departed for the Gaza Strip on Thursday, marking another step in Egypt’s ongoing relief efforts since the beginning of the crisis.

This convoy represents a swift response to the humanitarian aid provision in the Sharm El-Sheikh Document, which aims to support civilians in Gaza following the signing of the ceasefire agreement.

The convoy includes more than 200 trucks carrying essential supplies such as food, flour, tents, blankets, and hygiene items, in addition to over 36 ambulances ready for deployment.

Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance, stated that this convoy is not the last, as preparations are underway for more than 100 additional convoys set to depart in succession over the coming period, particularly with the onset of winter and the growing humanitarian needs.

She added that more than 14 member organizations of the Alliance took part in preparing and loading the convoy, with volunteers from various governorates participating. This collective effort, she said, sends a clear message to the world that Egyptian youth, through the National Alliance, are showcasing their loyalty, national belonging, and commitment to the humanitarian cause.
