UAE Amb.: El-Anany's election as UNESCO director general reflects int'l confidence in Egyptian capabilities

CAIRO - 7 October 2025: Ambassador Hamad Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, expressed his deep joy at the election of Dr. Khaled El-Anany as Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

He emphasized that El-Anany's victory is a new addition that enriches the Egyptian and Arab journey of diplomatic and cultural achievements. It represents an honorable image of Egypt and reflects its historical value and great humanitarian contributions in the fields of culture and the humanities.
