WASHINGTON - 28 July 2017: Spokesman for the US-led international coalition to fight Daesh Col. Ryan Dillon said Friday that terrorist Daesh group's activity, including promoting for its propaganda on twitter has declined in May by 92% compared to the same month in last year.

Dillon explained that the coalition has created the hashtag (Defeat Daesh) on twitter to guide social media users to how to report any extremist advocacy, according to US Al Hurra TV news channel.

Twitter has been one of the most prominent platforms used by Daesh to promote its activities, including its visual and written propaganda to recruit fighters from around the world.
