Vice Admiral Mahmoud Adel Fawzy, Commander of the Egyptian Navy, met with Vice Admiral Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, and his accompanying delegation during their official visit to the Egyptian Navy headquarters in Alexandria.

 

The discussions focused on strengthening military cooperation between the Egyptian Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. Both sides held a joint session to explore avenues for exchanging expertise, enhancing training opportunities, and signed a cooperation protocol aimed at supporting maritime security efforts in the region.

 

As part of the visit, the Egyptian Navy Commander and the Saudi Naval Chief toured the Alexandria Shipyard and inspected several naval units to review the latest advanced weapons systems recently introduced into Egypt’s naval fleet. The delegation also visited the Egyptian Naval Academy to observe the training and qualification programs provided to cadets in line with modern educational systems.

 

The visit highlights the Armed Forces’ commitment to expanding military cooperation with brotherly and friendly nations, reinforcing joint efforts to safeguard regional security and stability.
