Egypt condemns Israeli escalation in Ramallah, warns of regional instability

In an official statement, Egypt stressed that the Israeli government’s aggressive and extremist policies are the main factor destabilizing the region. Cairo warned that Israel’s provocative actions and its obstruction of all peace efforts in the region risk expanding the scope of the conflict.

Egypt reiterated its call on all members of the international community to take the necessary measures to compel Israel to respect international law and international humanitarian law and to halt its blatant violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
